CDLA Data Team
The CDLA Data Team is mainly responsible for keeping the digital databases (text & spatial) up-to-date and providing printed certificates and extracts from the registers. These responsibilities include a range of activities:
Maintaining the Village Map Catalogues for each village, and ensuring A3 Map Sheets are available for the CFs as needed for new demarcations;
Receiving the data from the new marked-up maps, made during the demarcation process, (hard copy or scanned) and capturing this, by digitisation of the boundaries, into the GIS;
Transferring textual data for newly demarcated parcels, from the ODK Forms into the relevant register;
Receiving and transferring textual data for changed ownership details, from the DHIS2 system into the register;
Printing Customary Land Certificates for delivery to the Chief and Registry Extracts for delivery to the headperson/VLC
